History:

Kolton grew up in a peacefully happy way. His mother and father ran a general store in a small eastern Dentorian town, where he was born and raised.

When he was twelve, a female dancer came to his town; he was immediately drawn in. The movements, the steps, the attention to the beat and rhythm; it was like the games he had always loved to play. Determined to be the best male dancer ever, he practised whenever possible, sometimes far into the night. His father was very supportive of his calling, but his mother, while never vocalising it, seemed to be disappointed, and grew to prefer his older brother Anton over him. He knew it then and still knows it, but is convinced she is in the right.

At fifteen, he declared himself ready to journey out alone into the world. Anton disagreed, however, and so he was chaperoned by the older boy. And so they have been traveling for the last year, wandering around Dentoria.

Personality:

Kolton is in love with life, and he makes it obvious in anything he does. Every task is an adventure and every dance is something new and exciting. He is completely free of bias of any sort; everyone is their own person, right? To him, everyone's personalities and how different they are in one of the things that makes the world such an interesting place.

Despite his cheerful personality, he can be incredibly critical of himself; anything done wrong is another thing done wrong. Other people, most especially his brother, don't see that, and think it impossible to make him upset, a idea he's tried to encourage. If anyone even implies he's angry or upset, he'll quickly make excuses for it; he acts as though he has no bad feelings whatsoever, and the ones that he does feel are quickly repressed. Very few things outside of his own actions actually bother him; only insults to his family even slightly show.

If Kolton likes someone in any way, shape, or form, he will make it very obvious. And Kolton likes quite a lot of people. Unfortunately, he finds it hard to tell when those people don't like him. His forms of affection are bone-cracking hugs and pecks on the cheek, with a emphasis on holding hands.

Kolton idolizes his brother, Anton, who is two years his elder. Everything he doesis to try to earn his approval; his main goal in life is to be a credit to him. However, his vision of Anton is largely idealistic; his brother never means to actually hurt him, and if he does, it's because he deserved it, right?

Appearance:

Kolton has blond hair just reaching his shoulders that he normally ties up and out of the way. Reasonably short- about 5'4"- he's lightly tanned, slender, and frighteningly flexible. He prefers to show quite a lot of skin; a shirt connected to long sleeves by straps reaches just below the bottom of his ribcage and long, flowing pants that hang at the hipbones.

Kolton's greatest fear is heights; he can't even stand to ride horses. If forced higher than a low wall, he trembles and falls silent. He has incredibly fast reflexes, as befitting a dancer, but is unfortunately clumsy when not dancing.

He's a chronic insomniac and sometimes stays awake for days at a time. The little sleep he gets is light and restless. He tends to almost pass out during the day, sometimes in even midsentence.
